We spent the last week on my parents farm. Good ol’ farm living.

This little cutie had a blast! Look at her planting corn. In her overalls. I die.

We are going on a nature walk!!

But look who is scared of nature??

Ok, she’s scared of butterflies.

We sat on tractors. We played with baby chicks. We had fun.

Shhhhhhh….Don’t tell her there is a butterfly on her cute little be-hind.

All that work…we deserve a little play!

Since I was an Event Planner in my former life, I have a slight problem when it comes to my kid’s birthday parties. I’m obsessed. I’ve been spending every waking moment this week preparing for the party (oh, and also taking care of my kids a tiny bit). So I haven’t really taken the time to sit at my computer. Just needed to take a breather and say hi!

Jessi hit a MAJOR cranky stage a week or so ago and has been interesting to deal with. Another reason for my bloggy absence. But the girls are cuter than ever, so here are a couple of random cute pics to brighten your day!

One of my favorite hobbies is baking. I make a batch of chocolate chip cookies at least once a week. I love sharing this hobby with Jessi Girl and am always trying to get her to have fun in the kitchen with me!

Yesterday we made cookies for daddy to take to work and for me to take to hang with some girls last night.

wordless{ish} wednesday: donut date

It had been a while since Jessi and I had gone on a Mommy/Daughter date, so Sunday we let daddy nap with ZoZo and we were off on a fun adventure! I took her for her first trip to the donut shop. Surprise, surprise….she picked the biggest sprinkle donut on the case. I was so proud

She. Loved. It.

She let me have a teeeeeny bite and then said, “no, no mommy. jessi’s donut”. Of course kiddo. It was fun though. Sugar crash commenced with a 2.5 hour nap. Success!

And then I got to come home and kiss these sweet cheeks. My life basically rocks.

We have had an amazingly warm winter, but finally got struck by cold this past week. We got a little bit of snow, so Jessi woke up so excited and itching to go play! We bundled up, and enjoyed a little snow!
