Hi, I’m KK! I’ll be your guide through this wild ride of making, baking, and growing babies. I’m a wife to my hunky hubby and a stay at home mommy to my 2 little girls, Jessi & Zoey. I’m a perfectionist learning to be flexible. A creative wanna-be. I love Jesus, sweet tea, orphans and clean sheets. I hate stretch marks and guacamole.
I’m in a mad, crazy love affair with my hubby. We are head over heels for one another, and find it a joy to encourage and help others through living with a person with opposite parts. It’s not always easy, it’s not always fun…but it’s the greatest adventure imaginable. Marriage is just so stinking fun.
In March of 2010 I became a mommy, and I was hooked. I have a problem I think. I want like 50 kids, mostly because my kids are just that awesome. Seriously, everyone thinks their kids are cool – but then they meet mine and realize theirs can’t compare {for real, ya’ll} So to continue with the crazy, we had baby girl #2 only 17 months later! Holy moly, we’re in for a wild ride. AND we are starting to plan for kiddo #3…while working toward an adoption in the future. I need a nap just thinking about it.
So, this is my blog. I over share, but I can because it’s mine. I hope to be an encouragement to other moms with tiny ones. I’m honest and real about motherhood. You’ll see the real me here. I’m the same me here that I am if you hang with me and my kids at the park. It’s not always pretty, but it’s a stinking blast (and sometimes it’s just stinky). Oh, and why “the mom diggity”? If you look up “diggity” in the dictionary (well…urban dictionary) it says that when attached to a name “diggity” can affirm the awesomeness of that person. So, there you have it. Confirmation of my awesomeness.
