I’m also excited to announce the January Messy Motherhood Link Up! This has been a really hard month for me, and I’m surprised I’m getting around to actually doing the link up this month. So it’s a bit ironic that we are going to talk about balance, since I have seemed to loose all sense of balance lately!

Oh my gosh. I love you. My first baby just turned one in December, and I’m currently 7.5 months preggo with the second! It is SO nice to hear that I’m not “crazy” for having them close together. Thank you for being a blessing.

I love your “crazy!” My best friend also has 3 under 3 and it can be a really beautiful thing (and sometimes crazy, yes. But fun and wonderful too!

I always love reading your blog and find it so encouraging! I can relate when you said it makes you want to cry when people say something to you about the timing of your children! We have a 3 and 1 year old and I am 21 weeks pregnant and while in the hospital over the weekend I was surprised at how many people felt it okay to comment on whether we were “done” having kids and how crazy I was! It really hurt my heart, especially when one nurse even said, “well since you’re still so young I dont know if they would tie your tubes or not with this baby but you should look into it.” without asking me if we wanted to be done. You are doing an amazing job with your girls so keep up the good work!!
It’s shocking to me how people just “assume” we are done after this too!! We aren’t done and want a big family, but that’s so weird to people! Just know there ARE people that understand and we aren’t all that mean
aw. i totally feel ya on the ppl making you feel bad about your choice to have kids so close together. ppl have made me feel the same way. mine arent as close as yours, but i have had ppl tell me NOT to have anymore (people with 1 kid) basically because its noisey when they are over, and apparently they think i am running a zoo. It does hurt my feelings, because i love my little noisemakers and am very used to it. i love finding other moms too that are just as “crazy.” love you Kara-Kae =)

HOW DO YOU LOOK THIS AMAZING WHEN YOU’RE THIS PREGNANT? I will never understand why women say such hurtful and ridiculous things about pregnancy and children.. totally hurts my feelings too. Can’t wait to see your third precious little one!

You are NOT crazy…you do what you feel is right for YOUR family and having 3 girls so close together is what’s perfect and what’s in God’s plan for you guys!!! Tell them to butt out when people tell you that, lol!
I can imagine that you’re so ready to meet baby #3 already so hopefully the weeks until she arrives will go QUICKLY! I am only 6 months pregnant and so ready for my baby boy to be here, it’s crazy!

Girl, I totally understand the hurt feelings part! My boys are 17 months apart and their little sister is just 21 months behind them. She’s 5 months old now. I was 2 months shy of having three kids under 3. Oh, and I have two step kids who are 13 and 11. It’s crazy. I love it, but not everyone does and for someone reason they feel the need to make comments, like I haven’t heard the EXACT SAME COMMENT from someone before. Wears me out. I’m thankful that the blogging community has so many moms like us, too!

I had a nurse last week tell me I was a “gluten for punishment”. No, actually I chose this and LOVE my kids. They are not a punishment at all!!! I can’t believe the things people think or assume! How fun that you have step kids to help out with your little ones too!!! I hope your sweet family is doing well!!
