I wanted you to all get to know Amy a little better, so she shared a little insight into what makes her tick!

Give us a summary of your shop & what you do
I make items that help people celebrate all of life’s events. Whether that be weddings, births, deaths, friendship, milestones or simply celebrating yourself. I started out by making beaded jewelry in 2003 and in 2007 it evolved to stamped, personalized jewelry which is the majority of what I do today. I love hearing the stories behind the pieces that I stamp and knowing what each word, date or initial means.

Tell us about your family
I have been married for almost 10 years to my best friend. He has been an awesome support to me in this endeavor of having my own business and is sacrificing of our time together so that I can grow the business. We also have two kids: a daughter who will be 6 in October and a son who is almost 3.

What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about so many things. Loyalty. My faith. My family. Creating as much as possible. Using my gifts. Generosity.

Where do you get your inspiration?
Many places…magazines, celebrities, nature, blogs. Many of my jewelry designs are just bred from inside my head and as I’m working on something it evolves into the final piece.

What’s something interesting about you that most people don’t know?
This is always such a hard question for me. When I was working on my “I Am” book a few weeks back I did a page about my world travels. I didn’t realize all of the places I’ve been until I did that page. Even my husband didn’t know that I’ve visited Canada! I’ve been to Canada, Ireland, Mexico, the Bahamas, and a slew of other places. We love to travel as a couple and as a family so our kids have learned to love traveling as well.

    I was just introduce to Amy’s site through a friend of mine who received a necklace stamped with her newborn son’s name on it. I bought one for my sis in law after the birth of her first child and then bought the same one for my mom for mothers day with the names of all her grandchildren. They have received so many compliments on the necklaces, I think I’d apply a gift certificate to making one of those stamped necklaces for me, with the names of my little family on it. Beautiful stuff!
